BIOS Update To F.27 From F.26

First Time Here? I thought of updating anything I can find and saw a new firmware release F.27. What would be the benefit of downgrading the BIOS?  To get off the 2MB version or something (I have read that one seems to be more difficult to mod)? The update installs on supported notebook models using a supported Microsoft Windows Operating System. Fixes an intermittent issue where the system displays a CMOS Reset (502) message after the user presses Home + the Power Button to reboot the system. So if it is possible, can you please let me know on how to get these options for me? Thanks in advance!

Version:F.27 (5 Dec 2013) Fixes - Fixes an issue where a system that is running the Microsoft Windows 8 operating sytem does not connect properly to a local area network (LAN) which I've attempted to find an existing vendor string to replace but my search results are finding multiple files in the Dump folder.  I'm at a loss as to which module to look NOTE: HP strongly recommends transitioning promptly to this updated BIOS version.

You can use the Recovery Method to downgrade !

The BIOS settings very much disappointed me with its about ten options with the only meaningful one being the boot order configuration. Any suggestions?
