TOO MANY USBs PLUGGED IN!!! It's acting like it's booting into Hybernation mode. Introduction A common problem I’m seeing is Windows Vista hanging at a black blank screen when it boots up. I've heard that one from several Vista users.

Help needed.!!! Startup repair did not detect any problems. So I rebooted it once more, Pressing F-8. I not only had the black screen while booting up but the system would also hang at times when using it.

General Discussion Black Screen after loading.Hi guys, I've recently got attacked by some sort of virus malware and my AVG instantly asked me to reboot. After that I got black screen problem. I put in my gateway recovery disk, & Tried the (advanced) answer. If both pass, it's apparently not a hard failure.
