It's somewhat similar to here: Ubuntu 14.04 Nvidia proprietary drivers installation Apparently it worked, at least that's what I thought in the beginning. And you can ask for a full refund for any reason. I had to disable optimus from the bios and then reinstall the nividia driver. If you have an nvidia optimus card, do not install the x-swat or any other nvidia drivers.
