However, you could try installing the Windows 10 Fall Update from a DVD or USB stick and then entering your Windows 7 product key, as explained above. Already tried reinstalling the OS of Windows 7 and 8 Pro but still getting the same BSOD. That means you will be able to move your copy of Windows 10 to a different PC. NOTE: You will lose all data/files on the HDD. It's really weird!! I myself encountered dozens of BSODs when installing Windows 8 onto this Vista SP1-era laptop system running Windows 7.
